NATO Chicago Ground Zero Tweets

As promised I will blog some o the events from Chicago with regards to the Nato Summit so far its pretty slow not a lot of action check out my tweets and the photos of Nato Chicago Ground Zero

So #nato is here in chicago and protestors are camping out in front of my building at 63rd and woodlawn

So #NATO protestors marched in Bridgeport the other day and I think the neighborhood folks almost beat them down that's Bridgeport dammit

Chicago’s NATO Summit 2012 Frontline Report

Ok as a resident of Chicago I will be definitely going down and blogging on what is happening with the protest and issues at the NATO 2012 Summit.  We hope that there is a peaceful deal down there we would not want to get caught up.  This is a very historical moment for Chicago and their are going to be thousands of people in the city to protest something.  I do believe their will be protestors for legitimate issues and then I feel like some of these people protest just for the hell of it.  Then there is also my advance theory that the corporations and powers pay people to protest.

Whatever the case may be I think these protestors should know the history of Chicago when comes down to dealing with open protest.  Also there is the little general they need to deal with “The Mayor”

So on May 20-21 st I will be down there with my I phone and flip camera and we will find out first hand.  I hope to keep you updated with factual information regarding the issues and inform you of the facts on both sides.

Is your State Energy Deregulated?

I may be dating myself when I talk about this well I’m old who cares.  For those of you old enough , do you remember when there was just one telephone company well that’s kind of like where we are with energy.  It use to be just AT&T and then they broke off into a lot of smaller companies they called the baby bells, and now well nobody has a land line in their home at all.  The energy companies have had kind of a monopoly on the market but this is beginning to change.  With utilities you can’t have a million companies providing energy but you can have various companies marketing energy related products.

You can save substantially by having competition as they always say competition is good.  In this case the cost is being driven down which is good for you the consumer.  You can now choose companies that provide your electricity if your state is deregulated.  I am providing you a list of states and the status of deregulation in each of these states.  Check it out and see if your state is deregulated and if it is you can change companies and save money.
